I knew that a major earthquake hit Sichuan province. When I saw the figures of the death toll, I felt a tremor in my heart. The tremors from the quake could be felt even in Hong Kong. I whole-heartedly give my blessings to the victims of the earthquake!

Ivy : So nice of Charmaine to edit her post giving her blessings to the victims of the quake. Many disasters recently. First, the Myanmar Typhoon and now this earthquake. And its already so near to the Olympics! The death toll is still on the rise and this reminded me of the Tsunami that hit few years back. As I'm living in Penang, one of the majorly affected areas in Malaysia, from my personal experience the tsunami was really scary! My family even planned for a picnic by the beach that day as it was a Sunday after Christmas!! Luckily we had a change of plans! My friend on MSN told me that she saw waves higher than roofs of houses and at the time I told her, "Hey! Stop exaggerating!!" Well seems like what she said was true! Fisherman boats were swept upshore into the middle of the road and ambulances' sirens could be heard continuously for days! And famous Gurney Drive was covered in mud and many cars parking by the roadside damaged! Luckily none of my friends and families were affected. My blessings to the victims of the Sichuan Earthquake and the Myanmar Typhoon too. Owh...Charmaine's restaurant is in Sichuan province right? Wonder if it was affected?

Ivy : I can't wait to watch Forensic Heroes II!! Hahaha. Charmaine is so cool in this! As a reminder please co-operate by not posting too much spoilers in the Cbox. Thanks! Also on the music poll...I realised that the Herbalist Affair song is not playing correctly. Also I am having problems uploading musics to Imeem recently. I tried using other computers and internet connections but still the same problem. I have lodged a report to Imeem so hope they coud solve it ASAP. So this means that the music poll will be on hold for awhile.
I will resume the music poll after my final exams. And as I'm having my exams, Patricia will be recording the Forensic Heroes II Previews for the following week. I'll remind her as she is forgetful! Hahaha.

Ivy : The above clips are recorded from Astro Wah Lai Toi by me. Honestly it took me a long time waiting for WLT to air the commercials and I stood in front of the TV spotting Charmaine almost the whole day and my mum was wondering why am I recording commercials? Hahaha. But fortunately I managed to record all the clips! I love the clip where Charmaine promotes Astro Mobile! She was almost bursting into giggles before she could finish her lines! Wonder what made her laugh? Hahaha. And her hair! I call it the "Telletubies Hair" is just so adorable!
Once again Happy Mother's Day to my mum and all other mothers! Hope you enjoy yourself with your family today! And to all children treasure your mother! Without her there is no you!

All-Out Supporting the Olympic Games
Besides singing, I also participated in filming the MV. I impersonated a tennis player, going all-out to show support to the Beijing Olympic Games.
Do you all still remember the photoshoot of the horse riding event I took?
Out of all the events being held in the Olympic Games, I personally would like to watch the diving event.

Natalie Tong Takes Care On Exercise Bikes
Emma Lam
Raymond Lam (林峯), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), Michael Tong (唐文龍) and Ken Wong (王凱韋) joined models Lisa S and Rosemary at a sports-themed promotional event Running Up To The Olympics today at Times Square. The event was jointly sponsored by Borel Watches and Esquire magazine.
At the event, the stars gave demonstrations of fitness events to raise money for charity. Charmaine arrived half an hour late and had to swap her event from the rowing machine to the treadmill because the skirt she wore was rather short. However, she only managed to run 60 metres in the end. She explained her tardiness by saying she had been busy filming on location for her new series The Turbulence Of East And West (東山飄雨西關晴).
Natalie was arranged to give a demonstration on the exercise bikes and although she wore shorts underneath her skirt, she was very careful during the ride because the reporters were busy taking photographs from every angle. After changing into another outfit later, she also revealed a bra strap. Asked if she was worried that she would be accused of trying to steal the limelight by being overly revealing, she said that she had already done her best to avoid lifting her legs up too high and it was all in the name of sport.
Raymond has recently signed a seven-figure contract with the watch designers to be their spokesperson and the sponsors have also allowed him to select any watch he likes from their collection. Asked if he will be presenting his rumoured girlfriend Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) with a lovers' watch, he laughed that he would invite her to attend a promotion with him to model them, but he would not be giving one to her privately because he had not reason to.

Additional News Translation :
(On.CC) As TVB's First Sister, Charmaine Sheh arrived half an hour late at an Olympics Promotional event. She said that she was busy filming The Turbulance of East and West but she has already informed the organiser that she will be late. Because she wore a short skirt to the event, she had to swap a rowing event arranged by the organiser with a treadmill event to avoid exposure.

Ivy : I'll be out most of the day today. Shopping with my relatives etc etc. So enjoy the updates!!
